Local intermediaries are an essential piece of the OST system infrastructure—in working with community leaders and young people to define success, advocating for policies and resources, and building capacity for organizations and stakeholders to reach common goals for young people. Panelists will describe how their cities built effective intermediary supports, including how community leadership and assets inspired their distinctive intermediary model, as well as their process for engaging community stakeholders and collecting data. Participants will explore questions about what an equity focus means for planning, design and start up for a local intermediary.
