The ancient human art of storytelling has the power to build connections, unify groups and motivate change. In this interactive workshop, communications strategists from New York and California will share how their youth-led narrative change campaigns have impacted perceptions and policies across the nation, from tackling school discipline in the Mississippi Delta, to prison reform in New York State, to quality education in the Bay Area. Participants will dive into story-sharing exercises and gain tools for bringing the power of story into classrooms, boardrooms and courtrooms in ways that build trust and respect, and inspire systems change.
